It’s the weekend once again and so is the time for a new recommendation. Our today’s recommendation is one such comedy drama that will make you feel touched while still making a smile all along.
We are talking about the 2011 film ‘50/50’ directed by Jonathan Levine and written by Will Reiser.
In ‘50/50’, Adam, a 27-year-old radio journalist’s life turns upside down when he is diagnosed with spinal cancer. Whilst battling the rare disease, he learns the value of friendship and love.
The film is is a gentle touch comedy that warms your hearts. Moreover, it isn’t get too cliché and balances it all in just the right way.
‘50/50’ stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Anjelica Huston in prominent roles. The film is loosely inspired by writer Reiser’s own experience with cancer, with Rogen’s character Kyle based on Rogen himself.
