‘Karwaan’ is the story of a young man Avinash (Dulquer Salmaan) working in the corporate world who finds out about his father’s death during a bus journey. He then receives a body that it happens to be of an old woman instead. To undo the mishap, he takes up on a road trip along with his friend Shaukat (Irrfan Khan), wherein following a twist of fate they are joined by a chirpy teenager.
The ups and downs of this beautiful journey they embark on together brings forth each character’s layers and makes you think about life and the decisions that shaped it to be the way it is. Moreover, the comedy part of ‘Karwaan’ makes it a light hearted, breezy watch and you end up with a feeling that all’s well that ends well.
