Munawar Faruqui became the rightly deserved winner of ALTBalaji’s highly popular reality show ‘Lock Upp’ recently and has now embarked on his journey of ultimate fame.
This includes multiple interviews, public appearances, brand collaborations and many more. Fans are eager to know what was Munawar’s experience on ‘Lock Upp’ specially how he impressed host/Jailer Kangana Ranaut, who has quite a different ideology than his.
There were concerns about Munawar and Kangana’s ideological differences getting in way but kudos to them both for keeping it super professional and listening rather than imposing one’s thoughts or opinions on the other. In a recent interview to a digital media platform while talking about ALTBalaji’s ‘Lock Upp’, Munawar chatted about his relationship with Kangana on the show. He said that to impress someone who likes you is a cake walk but to do so for someone who doesn’t like you is a challenge.
He further added that keeping aside the ideology and opinions that might be let’s say 10% of a person’s individuality, the rest 90% is the kind of person one is. And even out of this 90% if someone who doesn’t have the same thinking as yours gets to know and like 60-70% of you as a person then the job is done.
Moreover, Munawar also think that the way he played ‘Lock Upp’ with full honesty and devoted himself entirely to the game might also have wooed Kangana. This stands true given the fact that Kangana herself believes in working hard and giving it all to the craft.
