The South Korean blockbuster is a disaster action film starring biggest names from South Korean Cinema Industry. The film is directed by Han Jae-rim and stars Song Kang Ho (Parasite fame), Lee Byung-hun, Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Nam-gil in major roles.
The plot of Emergency Declaration is based on a real aviation disaster in which an aeroplane declared high alert and demanded unconditional landing. The film was immediate next for actor Song Kang Ho of Parasite fame. The shooting of the film was halted multiple times due to Covid-19 and finally wrapped by October 2020. After a long wait of 2 years, the film released at the theatres of South Korea on August 3,2022.
