On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritya today makers of ‘Adipurush’, the much anticipated mythological drama based on Ramayana, have unveiled a new lyrical motion poster for the film serving as an ode to Lord Shri Ram.
Composed by Ajay-Atul with lyrics from Manoj Muntashir Shukla, ‘Jai Shri Ram’ is all about how we humans not only rely on Shri Ram but are dependent on Him and call out to Him in times of distress and dilemma. The song further says that it’s the almighty who gives us the power and He is the one who brings prosperity.
The music for ‘Jai Shri Ram’ is grandiose and mesmerises with its divine nature, also the catchy chant phrase towards the end makes one hum along with it. On the other hand, the video begins with a dark silhouette of Prabhas as Shri Ram holding a bow and arrow pointed towards the ground which then gets enlightened by the light of fire.
Netizens reaction for this latest lyrical motion poster from ‘Adipurush’ is quite positive and people are liking the music and look of Prabhas, so much so that it is trending on various social media. After much comments about the film’s graphics earlier this one does comes as a respite and it’s mostly the song that needs to be given credit for this.
Written and directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage and Vatsal Seth in prominent roles.
‘Adipurush’ is touted to be one of most expensive Indian films ever made and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair. The production companies backing the film are T-Series Films and Retrophiles.
Set to make its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, ‘Adipurush’ will later release in theatres worldwide on 16th June, 2023.
