Nirmal Baby Varghese’s time-loop horror thriller, Dreadful Chapters, is a Malayalam film that premiered at the Hollywood Gold Awards in August 2023. Produced under the Casablanca Film Factory label by Nirmal and Baby Chaithanya. Together with the dubbed Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada versions, the movie was supposed to be released in Malayalam.
This eerie story is guaranteed to give you the chills. Six friends get together for an unforgettable holiday in a secluded homestay at the start of the novel. They venture to enter a strange cave they find on their journey. And so starts a voyage that will take many unforeseen detours.
The film received fairly good reviews from the audience and critics upon its premiere. With almost a year after its premiere, it is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. The film was digitally released on 6th September and has received a lot of headlines since its release.
