In a world so stressful, the only comforting thing for most of us is a good night’s sleep, but sadly that is one of the most affected things whenever something is wrong. Be it physically or mentally, if anything goes wrong our sleep is the first thing to go out of the window. Gladly, Netflix is bringing out a show that will help us understand what sleep is and the science behind everything.
Releasing on the 28th of April, Netflix series “Headspace Guide to Sleep” is a show that is brought to us by the wellness app Headspace, which earlier has signed deals with Netflix to bring original and educating content. This is not the first show from Headspace, earlier the streaming service also released a similar series that was dedicated to meditation and the usefulness of it. The earlier show is titled “Headspace Guide to Meditation”.
The upcoming web series will be an animated creation to bring interest to people with fun and cute characters. Each episode will have narrations and each one of them will focus on various issues that are normally related to a disruptive sleep cycle. Some of the topics involved will be insomnia, stress, maintaining sleep cycles, issues with our phones and sleep and even the use of sleeping pills.
The series will consist of 7 animated episodes that are 15 minutes long. Headspace’s director and mindfulness teacher Eve Lewis Prieto is the one behind the narrations of the episode. The show will not only tell you about the good habits, but also the science behind our sleep. Stating of facts will definitely lead to make these episodes more valuable.
This the second series in the three series deal between Headspace and Vox Media with Netflix. The first series that is already streaming will soon bring an interactive edition added to it.
With such interesting and much needed topics in the series, we sure are looking forward to this to bring us some good night’s peaceful sleep.
