This Riveting Grogu Theory Makes Sense In The Mandalorian Season 3

The latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 3, The Foundling, brought back the show’s focus on Grogu, Din Djarin, and Bo-Katan. In addition, we witnessed Djarin introducing traditional Mandalorian combat training to Grogu. Also, our lovely ‘Baby Yoda’ had visions of his rescue from the burning Jedi temple. In the previous episode, we saw Dr Penn Pershing getting captured by the Republic law keepers, thanks to Elia Kane’s betrayal. How are Pershing and Grogu connected? Let’s find out!

Dr Pershing previously appeared in Season 2, where he worked for Moff Gideon. The doctor used Grogu’s blood for numerous experiments, including his notorious cloning work. Many volunteers lost their lives in the early goings of his cloning experiments.

Now, Pershing is back in Season 3, and God knows what will happen this time. He did not harbour any evil ideas. Although, he deeply missed his cloning work. This scenario aided Kane in making Pershing a part of her evil plans. Plus, she manipulated the Mind-flayer like device to wipe out his memories, transforming his mind into a clean slate.

But what could all this mean for the show?

Dr Pershing’s cloning work may take The Mandalorian and the entire Star Wars franchise in new directions. We may even see him demanding the presence of Grogu to upgrade his experiments.

An interesting theory regarding this case has gained notable attention on the internet. Do you guys remember Snoke? Yup, the force-sensitive humanoid ruler of The First Order who lured Ben Solo (Kylo Ren) and taught him the ways of the dark side of the Force. He eventually turned out to be one of Emperor Palpatine’s puppets in ‘The Rise of Skywalker’. According to this theory, Dr Pershing used Grogu’s blood to create Snoke. His experiments might have even aided The First Order in creating a clone of Palpatine.
