‘Dracula Sir‘ is a genre bending masterpiece by Debaloy Bhattacharya. Anirban Bhattacharya and Mimi Chakroborty play the lead with a wonderful supporting cast of Rudranil Ghosh, Bidipta Chakroborty, Supriya Dutta and others. The movie has stellar performances from the actors and the music is also at par with that. The visuals are so grand that you will not be able to forget some scenes for days.
‘Dracula Sir’ tells the story of a very distressed temporary teacher in a school who has two enlarged canines that are quite a topic of discussion among students and colleagues. He lives in a rented room with great difficulty, one day he starts to identify himself with a supposedly killed rebel from the 70’s communist and so-called anticipated national revolution. The values of the two people go parallelly in the movie as both their lives are shown in a non linear way. The editing is absolutely beautiful and it will make it easier for the audience to comprehend such a complex storyline and the underlying philosophies.
There are songs that are composed and written beautifully that grace Dracula Sir. Dialogues are written masterfully and the camerawork is done with deftness. The love story, the problems of the protagonist to connect and communicate to people, his struggle for survival everything appeals to the audience. The best thing about Dracula Sir is that you can watch it with your family because it has no nudity or profanity. Watch it on Amazon Prime Video this weekend and you will absolutely love it.
