The sports drama series ‘Swagger’ focuses on youth basketball, the players, their families, and the coaches and is loosely inspired by NBA superstar Kevin Durant’s experiences. Until now, two seasons have been released on Apple TV+ so far.
‘Swagger’ Season-1 follows the story of a 14-year-old basketball prodigy Jace, who joins a team guided by a former rising star. Jace competes to claim the top spot in the team, decides what is more important: his personal win or team win, and makes some friends along the way.
‘Swagger Season-2’ carries forward the story arc of Jace, who gets a college scholarship offer, tries to deal with a tricky situation on his eighteenth birthday, and takes his relationship with his good friend Crystal to a new level.
‘Swagger’ Season-1 is ‘Certified Fresh’ and currently holds a critics’ score of 86% on reviews aggregation portal Rotten Tomatoes with an even higher audience score of 93%. On the other hand, the recently released ‘Swagger Season-2’ has got a critics’ score of 100% based on eight reviews so far. Overall, ‘Swagger’ has received a decent user rating of 7.4/10 on IMDb.
