This Survival Thriller Series Should Top Your Weekend List!Survival thrillers always keep you on the edge of your seat. How about survival thrillers that are based on real life incidents? Even more scary. Isn’t? The new Netflix limited series ‘Thai Cave Rescue‘ is one such recommendation for this weekend. The show is streaming on Netflix India now.

We’ve all followed the Tham Luang Cave rescue operation that happened in the year 2018. So many book references, documentaries etc followed the case closer and here’s Netflix with a fictional take on the whole incident. The show will be followed by a Netflix documentary on the same incident titled ‘ The Trapped 13: How We Survived The Thai Cave ‘ due release on the 5th of October, 2022 aligning with the hype of the series. In a series of clever promotional activity, the documentary on the actual survivors will release hardly two weeks after the release of the show.

For the unversed, the series is based on the events of the Tham Luang Cave Rescue that occurred in Tham Luang-Khun Nam Nang Non National Park during June and July 2018. Twelve members of the Wild Boars youth football team and their assistant coach were trapped and thereby rescued from the flooded cave system.

Thai Cave Rescue is directed by Thai directors : Kevin Tancharoen and Nattawut Poonpiriya. Netflix produces the 6 episode show whose chief creators are Michael Russell Gunn and Dana Ledoux Miller. The show is in both Thai and English languages respectively. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Thai audios are also available. The show is a solid recommendation from us for your weekend binge.
