‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ travels between the past and the present where a successful writer, Abhimanyu Roy (Khurrana) returns to his roots to write an old-fashioned love story that has been in the making for 3 years. He then comes across an old audio cassette that contains his and his first love Bindu’s (Chopra) favourite playlist. This sends him down a memory lane and it feels like the novel starts wetting itself.
Abhimanyu and Bindu are two different personalities, while the former is more calm and sorted, the latter is nothing less than a live wire. Bindu in the process of discovering herself finds it difficult to be in a stable relationship but for Abhimanyu she was and will always be the one.
‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ is a kind of love story that connects with you at some deeper level and leaves a lasting impact on your mind. You won’t feel agitated that they don’t end up together but a sense of calm will prevail instead. Quite contrary for a love story without a happy ending right, but to be honest the ending in itself is kind of happy in its own way.
