Deadpool 3 will reportedly consist of several cameos and will serve as the entry gate for many of Fox’s X-Men actors to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Another veteran from the X-Men franchise may appear in the upcoming Ryan Reynolds starrer, Liev Schreiber, who played Sabretooth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009).
As per the latest X (Twitter) post from the prominent scooper, Daniel Richtman, Schreiber will reportedly appear in Deadpool 3. He may get a “bigger than a cameo” role in the forthcoming MCU installment. Disney and Marvel Studios have not yet verified this report.
Schreiber will not be the only man who will don claws in Deadpool 3, if he appears in the film. Hugh Jackman is also set to return as Logan (Wolverine) in the upcoming Shawn Levy directional. Fans may witness another battle between Sabretooth and Wolverine in Deadpool 3.
Schreiber has revealed that he wanted to play Sabretooth in James Mangold’s Logan (2017). But he couldn’t do that due to his scheduling conflicts. During that time, the actor was busy filming the Ray Donovan series.
Deadpool 3 will arrive in theatres worldwide on May 3, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates.
