This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: Berlin, The Curse & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’, ‘The Creator’, ‘Maestro’, and ‘Rebel Moon’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Asteroid City (Streaming on Jio Cinema from 25th December)
The star-studded romantic comedy movie is set in the year 1955 in a fictional American desert town. The story focuses on how students and their parents from across the country come together for the Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention. But the goings-on are disturbed by world-changing events.

Hell Camp: Teen Nightmare (Streaming on Netflix from 27th December)
The documentary film focuses on a group of kids who were sent to a hellish and brutal camp in the rough Utah desert and how the inhuman and abusive treatment done in the name of ‘training’ these children was exposed.

Miss Shampoo (Streaming on Netflix from 28th December)
The Taiwanese romantic drama movie follows a budding hairdresser, whose life suddenly takes a drastic turn when she accidentally saves the life of a gangster and the two form an unlikely bond.

Pokemon Concierge (Streaming on Netflix from 28th December)
The Japanese stop motion anime series revolves around the concierge at Pokemon Resort who takes care of and interacts with Pokemon and his owners.

Berlin (Streaming on Netflix from 29th December)
The ‘Money Heist’ prequel spin-off series follows the terminally ill titular character Berlin (Pedro Alonso) and he planned and executed a mind-blowing plan to steal jewels worth a whopping 44 million euros in just a single night.

The Curse (Streaming on Lionsgate Play from 29th December)
The dark comedy thriller series revolves around a newly married couple (played by Emma Stone and Nathan Fielder), who try to achieve their eco-living dream amidst the backdrop of a reality television show.

Every Body (Streaming on Jio Cinema from 30th December)
The documentary film revolves around the lives of three people and how they dealt with shame and surgeries and ignored medical opinion to come out as who they truly were.

The Abandoned (Streaming on Netflix from 31st December)
The Taiwanese crime horror movie follows a depressed cop, who investigates a series of brutal murders after she finds a dead body in a river.
