This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: Extraction-2, Black Mirror Etc

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Arnold’, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, ‘Never have I Ever S4’, and ‘Polite Society’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Full Count (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 14th June)

The Korean documentary series focuses on ten Korean professional baseball teams and their relentless pursuit to become the number one champion.

The Surrogacy (Streaming on Netflix from 14th June)

The Mexican drama series revolves around a woman who belongs to a modest background and how she is coerced to become a surrogate mother for an affluent family in order to save her father’s life.

Black Mirror Season-6 (Streaming on Netflix from 15th June)

It’s a science fiction anthology television series where every episode is presented as a standalone story that is mostly set in the near future or an alternative reality. Each episode focuses on the various technologies we casually use today for the sake of convenience/entertainment etc.

Extraction 2 (Streaming on Netflix from 16th June)

Helmed by Sam Hargrave, Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as the elite and fearless mercenary Tyler Rake in the action-packed sequel. The story is about how he attempts to rescue a ruthless gangster’s family from the prison.

Kandahar (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 16th June)

The action thriller movie features Gerard Butler in the role of an undercover CIA operative, whose cover blows up in Afghanistan during a mission. Now, he must fight the enemies to save himself and his translator’s life and to escape the hostile territory.

Stan Lee (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 16th June)

The documentary film focuses on the life and legacy of the legendary comic book writer Stan Lee, the man behind many lovable superheroes like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Black Panther, to name a few.

The Full Monty (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 16th June)

A sequel to the popular 1997 movie of the same name, the comedy drama series takes place 25 years after the events shown in the parent film. Robert Carlyle and Mark Addy reprise their roles as the best mates Gaz and Dave and the story moves forward when the Monty gang comes together to honour an old friend.

King the Land (Streaming on Netflix from 17th June)

The Korean romantic comedy drama series follows the story of the rich heir of The King Group of hotels and how he clashes with one of the hotel’s diligent female employees, and sparks soon fly.
