This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: Fargo S5, Gran Turismo & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘The Crown Season-6’, ‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’, and ‘The Exorcist: Believer’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Fargo Season-5 (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 21st November)

Inspired by the cult 90s Coen Brothers’ movie of the same name, the show’s fifth season revolves around the story of a woman named Dorothy (played by Juno Temple) and how an old problem resurfaces in her life after an encounter with Minnesota law enforcement. It also features Jon Hamm and Jennifer Jason Leigh in pivotal roles.

Leo (Streaming on Netflix from 21st November)

The animated comedy movie revolves around an old lizard Leo (voiced by Adam Sandler), who is going through a midlife crisis. He decides to leave his home to experience the outside world but gets involved in the problems of fifth grade students.

Bottoms (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 21st November)

The comedy movie revolves around a bunch of high school students and how two girls decide to start a fight club for students to lose their virginities.

Oppenheimer (Streaming on BMS Stream from 22nd November – Rent)

Christopher Nolan’s biographical thriller movie features Cillian Murphy in the titular role and focuses on the life and work of physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is also known as the father of the atomic bomb.

Squid Game: The Challenge (Streaming on Netflix from 22nd November)

The ‘Squid Game’ based ten-part reality competition series is about how 456 contestants participate in gruelling challenges based on children’s games in order to win a massive cash prize.

A Nearly Normal Family (Streaming on Netflix from 24th November)

Based on a bestselling novel, the Swedish mystery drama miniseries revolves around a seemingly perfect family and how they are willing to go to great lengths to protect each other following a shocking murder.

I Don’t Expect Anyone to Believe Me (Streaming on Netflix from 24th November)

The Spanish comedy thriller movie follows a writer, who gets involved with a group of criminals right before travelling to Barcelona for higher studies.

Last Call for Istanbul (Streaming on Netflix from 24th November)

The Turkish romantic drama movie narrates the story of two married people, who meet at an airport and the chance encounter leads to an exciting and totally unexpected night in New York.

My Demon (Streaming on Netflix from 24th November)

The Korean supernatural romantic comedy series follows a cold and arrogant heiress, who enters into a contractual marriage with a demon, who desperately wants to get back his powers.

Retribution (Streaming on Lionsgate Play from 24th November)

The action thriller movie features Liam Neeson in the role of a bank employee, who is forced to carry out a series of assignments as instructed by a mysterious man, who has put a bomb inside his car. But the problem is: his kids are also trapped in the car and none of them can get out.

Gran Turismo (Streaming on Netflix from 25th November)

Neil Blomkamp’s high-octane racing movie narrates the incredible real-life story of Jann Mardenborough (played by Archie Madekwe), a diehard Gran Turismo video game fan who wants to become a professional race car driver. It also features David Harbour and Orlando Bloom in important roles.

Faraway Downs (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 26th November)

The six-part series is a rehashed version of Baz Luhrmann’s 2008 adventure drama movie ‘Australia’. The story is about an English aristocrat (Nicole Kidman), who joins forces with a rugged cattle-drover (Hugh Jackman) to save her deceased husband’s ranch from a baron.
