This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: Jack Ryan S4, Hijack & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Secret Invasion’, ‘Glamorous’, ‘John Wick 4’, and ‘Sleeping Dog’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

What’s Love Got To Do With It (Streaming on BMS Stream from 26th June)

Helmed by Shekhar Kapur, the romantic comedy movie follows a documentary filmmaker Zoe (Lily James), who films the journey of her best friend, who is getting married to a Lahore-based girl of his parents’ choice.

Hijack (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 28th June)

The thriller series features ‘Luther’ star Idris Elba in the role of a gifted negotiator, who must rely on his very particular set of skills to save the passengers of a hijacked flight from Dubai to London.

FreeKs (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 28th June)

The mystery drama series tells the story of a band leader Gaspar, who is wrongly accused of stealing money from the band’s shows. Now, he must prove his innocence to find his place back in the band.

Delete (Streaming on Netflix from 28th June)

The mystery drama series revolves around two people having an extramarital affair and what they do when they get hold of a phone which can delete people from existing in their lives.

The Witcher Season-3 (Streaming on Netflix from 29th June)

The series features Henry Cavill as ‘Geralt of Rivia’, who is a professional monster hunter with special powers. His destiny makes him cross paths with Princess Ciri and the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg as they navigate their way through a corrupt medieval fantasy world called The Continent. The show’s third season is inspired by the second part of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher book series titled ‘Time of Contempt’.

Fast X (Streaming on BMS Stream from 29th June)

In the tenth ‘Fast and Furious’ movie, franchise veteran Vin Diesel reprises his role as an ex-criminal and street racer Dom, who must protect his family from an enemy from his past.

See You In My 19th Life (Hindi Dub) (Streaming on Netflix from 29th June)

Based on a popular webtoon, the romantic drama series is about a girl who has been reincarnating for thousands of years and remembers these past memories. But after her eighteenth life is cut short because of an accident, she decides to find the whereabouts of her childhood love from her previous life.

Jack Ryan Season-4 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 30th June)

The political action thriller web series features John Krasinski, who reprises the titular role of a CIA analyst turned CIA Deputy Director and former Marine Dr. Jack Ryan. In the fourth and final season, the titular protagonist must unearth conspiracy and corruption within his own organization.

Celebrity (Streaming on Netflix from 30th June)

The twelve-part mystery thriller K-drama follows a woman who becomes popular overnight as a social media influencer in Seoul, but she must also deal with the darker aspects of being a top celebrity.

Is It Cake, Too? (Streaming on Netflix from 30th June)

The competition reality show features highly skilled bakers who participate in a brain wrecking baking contest where they create tempting cakes that look like ultra-realistic replicas of daily objects like bowling bowls, shoes, toys, handbags, sewing machines, burgers, etc.
