This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: Shotgun Wedding, Shrinking Etc

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘The Last Of Us’, ‘That 90s Show’, ‘Fauda Season-4’, and ‘Jung_E’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Narvik (Streaming on Netflix from 23rd January)

The Norwegian military drama movie is set in the year 1940 in the small town of Narvik located in Northern Norway. The story follows a Norwegian soldier who comes back to his home but finds out about a shocking truth related to his wife.

Accused (Streaming on SonyLIV from 23rd January)

The crime drama show is based on the 2010 British anthology series of the same name. Narrated in a standalone episodic format, each episode focuses on how ordinary people get involved in extraordinary situations and end up in a courtroom being accused of a crime.

Bodies Bodies Bodies (Streaming on Netflix from 25th January)

The horror comedy movie revolves around a bunch of youngsters who plan a party in a secluded mansion. But their happiness is short-lived after someone is dead following a party game and now, they must find the killer before it’s too late.

Against the Ropes (Streaming on Netflix from 25th January)

After getting released from prison for a crime she did not apparently commit, Angela must enter the wrestling ring in order to win the love and respect of her estranged daughter.

Shotgun Wedding (Streaming on Lionsgate Play from 27th January)

The action-comedy movie features Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel as a couple who are all set for their extravagant destination wedding. But the celebrations take a backseat after the whole wedding function is taken hostage by criminals.

Shrinking (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 27th January)

The comedy series stars Jason Siegel as a grieving therapist who starts to tell his clients precisely what’s going on in his mind and about what he is thinking. And in doing that, he breaks the basic rules and makes a huge difference in the lives of people including himself. It also features veteran actor Harrison Ford in an interesting role.

You People (Streaming on Netflix from 27th January)

The comedy movie revolves around a couple (played by Jonah Hill and Lauren London), who must deal with clashing cultures and generational differences among their families and the tricky situation of meeting each other’s parents.

Lockwood & Co. (Streaming on Netflix from 27th January)

Based on Jonathan Stroud’s book series bearing the same name, the British supernatural thriller series follows three teenage ghost hunters, who team up together to fight deadly paranormal forces.

The Invitation (Streaming on Netflix from 28th January)

The horror movie follows a freelance caterer Evie (Nathalie Emmanuel), who undergoes a DNA test and discovers that she has a cousin which she wasn’t even aware of. She accepts an invitation to an extravagant wedding function but soon she realizes that there is something sinister about the seemingly generous hosts.
