Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Magic Mike’s Last Dance (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 13th March)
Helmed by Steven Soderbergh, the comedy drama movie features Channing Tatum in the titular role of a former stripper turned bartender Mike Lane, who returns to the stage after a long break. He goes to London where he is lured by an offer by an affluent socialite (Salma Hayek) with a hidden agenda.
Ted Lasso Season-3 (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 15th March)
The sports comedy drama series follows the titular character Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis), an optimistic American college football coach who is surprisingly recruited to manage an English soccer team.
Black Adam (Streaming Rent-Free on Amazon Prime Video from 15th March)
The DCEU superhero movie follows the titular anti-hero Black Adam (played by Dwayne Johnson), who is released after 5000 years of imprisonment. Now, the ancient superhuman must use his powers to set the present-day Kahndaq free from the clutches of a criminal organization.
Money Shot: The Pornhub Story (Streaming on Netflix from 15th March)
The documentary film focuses on the successes and scandals of adult entertainment platform Pornhub and around the allegations pertaining to non-consensual material on the portal.
The Whale (Streaming on SonyLIV from 16th March)
Helmed by Darren Aronofsky, the film follows the story of a reclusive and severely obese professor Charlie (played by Brendan Fraser), who tries to rekindle his relationship with his estranged daughter. Brendan Fraser has won an Oscar for his performance in the movie.
Shadow And Bone Season-2 (Streaming on Netflix from 16th March)
The fantasy drama series revolves around the orphan mapmaker Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li), who learns that she is a powerful Grisha and how she attempts to stop the Shadow Fold from wreaking havoc on Ravka.
Extrapolations (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 17th March)
The climate change-based anthology series has eight interconnected episodes and revolves around how changes to the planet affect love, family, and work on a personal and a broader human level. The ensemble cast includes Meryl Streep, Kit Harrington, Edward Norton, Tobey Maguire, David Schwimmer, Forest Whitaker, and Adarsh Gourav, amongst others.
The Magician’s Elephant (Streaming on Netflix from 17th March)
The animated adventure movie follows the story of Peter, an orphan boy who begins his quest for an elephant in order to find his long-lost sister. And along the way, he must complete some really difficult tasks.
In His Shadow (Streaming on Netflix from 17th March)
The French crime thriller movie focuses on the stories of two half-brothers, who find themselves on the opposite sides of a conflict, leading to devastating consequences.
Dom Season-2 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 17th March)
The show’s story is about the relationship between Victor, a father, who is a cop on a mission to fight against drugs, and his son Pedro, who is a drug addict himself and is on the other side of the drug-centric war. Can the delicate father-son relationship survive amidst the backdrop of the war on drugs?
