This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: Upload S3, Bodies & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’, ‘Awareness’, ‘Past Lives’, and ‘Lessons in Chemistry’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Rick and Morty Season-7 (Streaming on Netflix from 16th October)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (Streaming on BMS Stream from 18th October – Rent)

Bodies (Streaming on Netflix from 19th October)

The sci-fi mystery drama series focuses on an investigation of the same person’s murder by four different cops in four different timelines in London and how the investigations converge leading them to a sinister conspiracy.

Crypto Boy (Streaming on Netflix from 19th October)

The Dutch drama film revolves around how a young man is dragged into the world of cryptocurrency and joins a crypto businessman after he resigns from his father’s restaurant business following an altercation.

The Nun II (Streaming on BMS Stream from 19th October – Rent)

After the brutal murder of a priest in 1956 France, Sister Irene investigates the killing and now she must once again face the evil nun, Valak.

Upload Season-3 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 20th October)

Set in the near future, the science fiction show follows the story of a deceased computer programmer Nathan who is uploaded by his living girlfriend to an elite virtual afterlife program called Lake View. Nathan is trying to adjust to his new post-death digital life where he falls for his customer service rep Nora.

The Pigeon Tunnel (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 20th October)

The documentary film focuses on the former British spy David Cornwell, who is also well known by his pen name John le Carre – the author of widely acclaimed novels including ‘The Constant Gardener’ and ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’, amongst others. The film spanning about sixty years narrates the story starting from the Cold War until the present day.

Creature (Streaming on Netflix from 20th October)

Based on Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel Frankenstein, the Turkish horror series follows the story of a young medical student who conducts a dangerous experiment leading to terrible consequences.

Elite Season-7 (Streaming on Netflix from 20th October)

The comedy drama movie follows three middle-aged best friends Jack, Connor and Mike, who try to deal with the modern world of school principals and new millennial corporate bosses.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 20th October)

The seventh live-action Transformers movie is a prequel to the first Transformers film and is set in the 1990s period. The story is about how the Autobots team up with a new Transformers faction known as the Maximals in order to fight against the formidable Unicorn.

Surviving Paradise (Streaming on Netflix from 20th October)

The reality competition series revolves around a group of twelve strangers who are under the impression that they will be in a luxurious villa. However, they are not aware that they will subsequently be banished to the wilderness beneath and now they must survive for a massive cash prize.

The Other Zoey (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 20th October)

The romantic comedy movie follows the titular protagonist Zoey Miller, a computer geek who is mistaken by a popular college soccer player as his girlfriend.

Old Dads (Streaming on Netflix from 20th October)

The comedy drama movie revolves around three close friends and fathers who must deal with the modern world consisting of new millennial CEOs and school principals.
