This Week’s Top Indian OTT Releases: Bimbisara, Tripling S3 Etc

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Dobaaraa’, ‘Good Bad Girl’, and ‘Mismatched Season-2’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Oke Oka Jeevitham (Streaming on SonyLIV from 20th October)

The sci-fi comedy drama movie helmed by Shree Karthick revolves around three friends named Aadhi, Sreenu and Chaitanya, who get the opportunity of a lifetime to go back in time to prevent Aadhi’s mother from dying and to change their uninspiring lives with the help of a scientist.

Bimbisara (Streaming on Zee5 from 21st October)

Directed by Mallidi Vasistha, the fantasy action movie revolves around the story of an ancient king Bimbisara, who lands in present-day Hyderabad after getting betrayed by his brother. Now, the protagonist must find a way to get back to his kingdom, but for that, he must find the mirror through which he can travel back home.

Pettaikaali (Streaming on Aha Video from 21st October)

Written & Directed by La Rajkumar, the web series will narrate a story based on the daredevil bull taming sport of Jallikattu and features Kalaiyarasan in the lead role.

Tripling Season-3 (Streaming on Zee5 from 21st October)

Directed by Neeraj Udhwani, the comedy drama web series follows the story of three siblings Chandan, Chanchal, and Chitwan (played by Sumeet Vyas, Maanvi Gagroo, and Amol Parashar). They must deal with the harsh reality about their parent’s separation after almost forty years. Whether or not their last adventure can save their family and coerce their parents to rethink their decision forms the season’s underlying premise.

Four More Shots Please Season-3 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 21st October)

The series revolves around four women from different walks of life (played by Sayani Gupta, Bani J, Kirti Kulhari, and Maanvi Gagroo. and how they deal with their romantic relationships, their professional lives in present-day Mumbai.

Brahmastra (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 23rd October – TBA)

Ayan Mukerji’s massively mounted venture ‘Brahmastra’ features an ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, and Shah Rukh Khan (in a wonderful cameo), amongst others. The film’s plot follows the protagonist named Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) who is blessed with incredible superpowers related to fire and how he learns to use them in order to save the world from destruction.

Krishna Vrinda Vihari (Streaming on Netflix from 23rd October)

Directed by Anish R Krishna, the romantic comedy movie features Naga Shaurya in the role of Krishna Chari, who belongs to a traditional Brahmin family. He falls in love with a woman named Vrinda (Shirley Setia) and how he marries her and tries to convince his family forms the film’s crux.
