This Week’s Top Indian OTT Releases: Jogi, Dahan & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Indian Predator: The Diary of a Serial Killer’, ‘Paappan’, and ‘Ek Villain Returns’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Vikram (Streaming on Zee5 from 13th September)

Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the star-studded action entertainer features the terrific trio of Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil alongside Suriya in a cameo. Kamal Haasan is essaying the titular character of a retired cop named Vikram, who is given the mission to rescue a top brass government official.

Ramarao On Duty (Streaming on SonyLIV from 15th September)

The Telugu language action-drama features Ravi Teja in the titular role of an upright and honest civil servant, who makes it his mission to fight against corruption and solve a case related to a dangerous red sandalwood smuggling gang.

Shiksha Mandal (Streaming on MX Player from 15th September)

The crime thriller web series features Gulshan Devaiah in the role of a coaching teacher whose sister becomes a victim of the education mafia. How he tries to bring down the syndicate with the help of a brave cop and unearths a massive education scam, forms the show’s crux. It also features Gauahar Khan and Pawan Malhotra in important roles.

Jogi (Streaming on Netflix from 16th September)

The film is set in the year 1984 in Delhi against the brutal backdrop of the anti-Sikh riots and the plot revolves around how the protagonist (played by actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh) takes up the daredevil task of transporting a large group of people from Delhi to Mohali.

Dahan (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 16th September)

The nine-part supernatural thriller web series features Tisca Chopra (Taare Zameen Par) as an IAS officer who investigates mysterious paranormal occurrences in an apparently cursed village called Shilaspura. The show also features Rajesh Tailang, Mukesh Tiwari, and Saurabh Shukla in interesting roles.

Vikrant Rona – Telugu (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 16th September)

Helmed by Anup Bhandari, the action-adventure movie features Sudeep in the titular role of an eccentric cop Vikrant Rona, who investigates mysterious events in a secluded village which are believed to be of a supernatural nature.

College Romance Season-3 (Streaming on SonyLIV from 16th September)

Helmed by Parijat Joshi, the romantic drama show revolves around the lives of college going friends and features Apoorva Arora, Gagan Arora, Keshav Sadhna, and Shreya Mehta in the main roles.

Belashuru (Streaming on Hoichoi from 18th September)

Directed by Nandita Roy, the Bengali language family drama movie focuses on the relationship between an elderly couple Biswanath (played by Soumitra Chattopadhyay) and Arati (played by Swatilekha Sengupta), the latter suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
