Thor Love And Thunder: Thor Seeks Peace And Not War! Know How

The teaser of Thor Love And Thunder dropped a few days back. The much-anticipated teaser hiked the buzz of the film and mainly due to Natalie Portman’s still in which she lifted Mjolnir.

Needless to say, the Marvel fans are currently under the influence of the Multiverse theory and they also connected it with that. The fans discussed that Jane Foster might be Thor from another universe who lifted Mjolnir and perhaps that’s the reason she could lift it.

But the official synopsis of the film is out and that does not hint at what the fans were speculating.

The full official synopsis reads, “A new trailer and poster are now available for Marvel Studios ‘Thor: Love and Thunder,’ offering long-awaited clues to what’s in store for the God of Thunder. The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey, unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late. Directed by Waititi (‘Thor: Ragnarok,’ ‘Jojo Rabbit’) and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ opens in theatres on July 8, 2022.”

It clearly says that the reason Jane lifts the hammer is unexplainable thus it might have got a little to do with multiverse theory.

Regardless, it looks like the God of Thunder wants to immediately retire and live peacefully. But will the God Butcher let that happen?

We may find that out in the theatres.
