Director Tharun Bhaskar, riding on the back of the success of the 2023 crime comedy Keeda Cola, has come up with a new web series, Thulasivanam, under his production banner of VG Sainma. Scheduled to premiere on ETV Win on March 21, 2024. The series is helmed by writer – director Anil Reddy and stars Venkatesh Kakumanu and Akshay Lagusani in the main roles. The plotline follows the story of a hopeful budding cricketer, who ventures away from home to Hyderabad with the aim of making it in the field of sports. Amidst this, he encounters Aiswharya Hollakal’s character and falls in love with her, and also navigates an array of challenges that arise with acclimatizing to a new place, all portrayed with the right vein of humour all along.
