If you like true crime documentaries then you will definitely love this latest announcement from Netflix. The global streaming giant has launched a new true crime stories slate that includes five riveting documentaries revolving around some very sensational topics.
Stories telling about real crimes have captured the interest of people from a long time and it continues to do so even now. Through the documentaries that try to present a true picture of all that happened instead of a fictionalised version, viewers are able to “dissect its complexities and make sense of the unexpected.”
With this latest slate Netflix is now set to explore the spectrum of true crime and one particularly riveting area is that of cons, scams, and cautionary tales. This isn’t the first time Netflix will be doing so, earlier this year its series ‘Heist’ revealed how ordinary people almost got away with extraordinary cons, ‘This Is A Robbery’ examined a still-unsolved art theft, and ‘Cocaine Cowboys: Kings of Miami’ chronicled the rise and fall of drug kingpins.
These docs are filled with surprise twists and unusual perspectives and many a times give an insight into the what goes inside the mind of a con artist, how the victims feel and engrossing investigation among others.

The global hit Tiger King, which attracted 64 million households in the first four weeks after its March 2020 premiere, will return to Netflix for more madness and mayhem.
