Tiger Shroff is looking to own this year’s Eid. His upcoming movie, Heropanti 2, has found its release date. It will drop in theatres on April 29 during the festive season of Eid. Like its previous entry, dispatched in 2014 (also Shroff’s debut project), the sequel is also a production work of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
Shroff is returning to the big screen after almost two years. His last project, Baaghi 3, didn’t perform well at the box office due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Apart from this, he is also busy filming Ganapath with Vikas Bahl at the helm. We will see him pairing with Kriti Sanon in this one with the father-son duo of Vashu Bhagnani and Jacky Bhagnani serving as main producers. Additionally, the viewers will witness prominent South Indian performer, Rahman, making his Hindi cinema debut with this film.
The actor’s last theatrical success came out in 2019 with War alongside Hrithik Roshan. He must be looking to taste success at the box office after a long gap of three years.
In addition to Tiger Shroff, we have Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Heropanti 2’s cast. Furthermore, the choreographer turned director Ahmed Khan has helmed the upcoming Heropanti sequel.
