Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ expands as Tiger Shroff becomes the latest to join the much anticipated film. ‘Singham Again’ is the third instalment in the filmmaker’s popular ‘Singham’ franchise.
After unveiling a menacing first look of Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty, the most brutal and violent officer of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, it’s now time for Tiger Shroff to join ‘Singham Again’ as ACP Satya.
The first look posters revealed today feature Tiger in a bare chested, perfectly chiseled upper body and holding guns with a fiery theme in the backdrop. Though the poster quality is overall disappointing given the big ‘Singham’ brand that it is.
Set to release in theatres on Independence Day 2024, ‘Singham Again’ is the third instalment in the franchise post ‘Singham’ (2011) and ‘Singham Returns’ (2014). Both the previous films were a massive box office blockbuster and the same is expected from this upcoming sequel.
In addition to Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff, ‘Singham Again’ stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
‘Singham’ franchise is part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe that includes films, web series, animated series and games. Other films of this universe include Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Simmba’ and Akshay Kumar led ‘Suryavanshi’ while the web series is an upcoming Amazon Prime Video original ‘Indian Police Force’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi.
