The title and release date of the 67th film of Tamil superstar Vijay with noted filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is now officially announced. Vijay will be seen in and as ‘Leo‘ in his second partnership with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. ‘Leo’ will hit the theaters on the 19th of October this year. Previously he has worked with him in ‘Master’. The working title of the film was Thalapathy 67 and it is being produced under the banner of Pen Studios. Composer Aniruddh has composed the music for the film.
A promo video of a song ‘Bloody Sweet’ from the film has been released today. The video is somewhat similar to the teaser of ‘Vikram’, it features Vijay inside what looks like a bakery or a chocolate factory baking and making preparations prior to an attack, which resembles the Vikram teaser. The song is catchy and we can easily understand that Anirudh Ravichander has done a great job composing the music.
The cinematic universe of Lokesh Kanagaraj already includes stars like Karthi, Kamal Hassan, Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi and many more actors. After the official announcement of Thalapathy67, fans wanted to know whether it will be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe or not. There is no information about it still. But as we can assume from the song promo, ‘Leo’ will be high on action and will be a proper thriller.
Actors like Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin will be joining Vijay in the film, there are rumors that Kamal Hassan can also have a cameo in ‘Leo’. With this film, Vijay has all chances of having the next big pan-Indian hit. There is a very high probability that ‘Leo’ will be a part of the LCU. The stark resemblance in the promos of Vikram and Leo is a point in favour of that. Do not forget to watch it in theaters when it releases on October 19th.
