Hollywood Is working in a pattern right now, all the upcoming movies are either novel adaptations or video game adaptations. But, to dive into nostalgia Chris Pratt is coming back with the new Garfield movie, this summer.
Based on Jim Davis’s most famous comic cat Garfield, the movie is about bringing back a lot of nostalgia.
Directed by Mark Daniels, the story deals with Garfield the famous cat reuniting with his long lost father, a scruffy street cat.
After some twists and turns Garfield ends up being involved in a very messy heist. Alongside Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson gave his voice as his father, and the other members included Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Bowen Yang, and Ving Rhames.
The first teaser was released in November which didn’t serve much of a story but the new footage tells a good amount of story.
The Garfield Movie will be in theatres on May 24th, 2024. Don’t miss your dive in nostalgia.
