Tollywood Worried About Pawan Kalyan’s Speech Bheemla Nayak Event?

The other day, the makers of Bheemla Nayak announced that the Pawan Kalyan and Rana starrer will be releasing in theatres on the 25th of this month. This sudden surprise announcement left Pawan’s fans greatly excited. But cut to now, Telugu cinema is worried about Pawan Kalyan’s speech at Bheemla Nayak’s pre-release event which is scheduled to be held on the 21st of this month. Well, there is a very good reason behind it.

The last time Pawan Kalyan attended a film-related event, he came out all guns blazing against the YCP-led government of Andhra Pradesh and this had some serious consequences. The government started to impose unforeseen restrictions on the film industry. The cinema ticket prices were capped at unreasonable price slabs and the permissions for the all-important special shows were revoked. This seriously affected Tollywood.

Now, the government is finally showing some respite to Tollywood as they promised to permit ticket price hikes and vowed to permit special shows for big-ticket films. With things finally falling into place, all Tollywood wants now is for the government to restore normalcy as far as the cinema exhibition industry goes. This is a crucial passage that needs to progress along smoothly. If Pawan Kalyan takes up the mic at Bheemla Nayak pre-release event and starts going berserk against the YCP government, things can go south rather quickly and this is the last thing Tollywood wants right now.

What Pawan Kalyan speaks at his political meetings is of his personal choice. But if he pulls the trigger against the state government at a film-related event, particularly at this point in time, it could spell disaster. The Andhra Pradesh government is not so forgiving and doesn’t hesitate to come down heavily if needed. If the same happens now, appeasing the YS Jagan-led government again will be next to impossible.

So, at least for the greater good, Pawan Kalyan should refrain from irking the YCP government at the Bheemla Nayak event. With biggies like Radhe Shyam, RRR, and others lined up for release in the next few days, any miscalculations can lead to catastrophic results.
