We are less than a month away from the release of Venom: The Last Dance from Sony in theaters worldwide. What seems to be marking the final outing of Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock, Venom 3’s early box office predictions are looking quite impressive, especially compared to some of the recent SSU entries.
According to Box Office Pro, Venom 3 may open with $80-120 million in its domestic (US and Canada) opening weekend. This figure looks impressive considering the movie’s budget, which is close to $110 million. Additionally, the Venom franchise is quite prominent on a global level. This suggests that the upcoming Tom Hardy starrer is set to perform strongly at the global box office during its opening weekend.
According to the official synopsis, Venom 3 will center on Eddie and the symbiote Venom as they go on the run, being pursued by forces from both of their worlds.
Led by Hardy, the movie’s cast treasures other talents such as Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, Stephen Graham, and more. Knull, creator of all symbiotes, will also appear in the movie.
