Tom Holland has given an exciting update about Spider-Man 4 in his recent interview with Inverse. He revealed that he was “excited about” the future of the web-slinger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although, he did not mention how and when the superhero character will return. He informed Inverse that there was “some stuff going on.”
“Whether or not it’ll come to fruition, who knows?” Holland added. “But right now it’s looking pretty good, and we’ll just have to wait and see.”
We all know that the Miles Morales trilogy will end after Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which will release next year. According to many reports, the live-action version of the character may appear in Spider-Man 4 alongside Tom Holland. One of Spider-Verse movies’ producers, Amy Pascal, has also confirmed that a live-action Miles Morales project is in early development.

Donald Glover played Aaron Davis, aka Prowler, from the MCU continuity in Across the Spider-Verse. He portrayed the character in Spider-Man: Homecoming too. Also, the character mentions his nephew in the film, though he does not share his nephew’s name. Holland has also expressed his excitement about his Peter Parker sharing the screen with live-action Miles Morales.
“I would be honored to bring Miles Morales into the live action world. How we do that, I don’t know, but given the opportunity, I would jump at it.”
All these scenarios tease a potential team-up between Peter Parker and Miles Morales for a future feature project.
Kevin Feige is also excited about Spider-Man 4 and recently gave an update about the film to Entertainment Weekly.
“All I will say is that we have the story,” Feige said. “We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now.”
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home collected over $1.9 billion globally and shattered several box office records during the COVID-19 era of cinema.
