There soon will be a movie adapted from the popular novel ‘Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow’. It will be helmed by Siân Heder who has previously directed ‘Coda’.
‘Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow’ is written by Gabrielle Zevin and it came out in 2022. The book took the market in a storm and got highly popular among readers. It sold more than 2.8 million copies worldwide and also stayed on the New York Times Bestseller list for fifty weeks.
This is Zevin’s fifth novel and tells the story of two estranged friends who come to meet each other again after a very long time. However, they sense that the intimacy that they once held is now lost and they try to revive that through the one thing that binds them dearly: video games. The friends start a video game company together and new struggles follow. ‘Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow’ is the story of friendship, intimacy and its elution and bond through the visual storytelling of video games. Of course video game lovers are going to be crazy over this.
Siân Heder is known for her particularly sharp storytelling in movies like ‘Tallulah’, ‘Little America’ and of course ‘Coda’. Coda also got her an Oscar for Best Picture. Let us see what she does with a story like Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow.
