1. Irugapatru
Irugapatru on Netflix India is a heartfelt film that has a significant buzz on the platform. The Tamil movie stars Shraddha Srinath, Vikram Prabhu, Vidharth, Sri, Abarnathi and Saniya Iyappan. After a good box office run, the movie is ready to catch the eyeballs of the OTT viewers.
2. The Killer
The maestro filmmaker David Fincher returns to the director’s chair with Netflix’s The Killer. The movie managed to have a highly positive response from the audience and is ready to capture the streaming enthusiasts worldwide. The Killer must be high on your watchlist this week.
3. Ghoomer
Abhishek Bachchan returned to the big screens with Saiyami Kher. The actress plays a cricket enthusiast who happens to lose her right hand but continues with her passion. The film is impressive although it failed to create any sort of magic at the box office. It is available on ZEE5.
4. Pippa
Pippa is a highly ambitious project starring Ishan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. The movie is set in the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The movie is named after a tank that was extensively used in the war. Although it is failing to grab many great reviews, it is still an important film nonetheless. The movie is streaming on Prime Video.
5. Vigilante
Vigilante on Disney+Hotstar is a series whose premise is similar to that of The Batman. In day he is just an average guy pretending to make society better but he is a vigilante at night. It stars Nam Joo-hyuk, Yoo Ji-tae, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Kim So-jin.
6. Fukrey 3
Fukrey 3 is streaming on Prime Video but on the store. This means you would have to spend extra bucks to rent the movie but it would arrive on Prime Video within a fortnight so you may ready yourself for a fun ride.
7. The Billionaire, the Butler & the Boyfriend
Documentaries are probably the most impactful way of cinematic storytelling. Because they try to portray the exact point rather than using tools to soften/spice the message. This documentary about a massive scandal related to the once richest woman on the planet is now streaming on Netflix India.
8. Aatmapamphlet
This type of film is called coming of age. The Marathi film talks about the journey of a kid who grows up in various social changes that were going on in the 1980s. It is streaming on Zee5.
9. Escaping Twin Flames
Those who follow American pop culture can’t escape this documentary. Streaming on Netflix India, it talks about the world of Twin Flames Universe, a cult run by Shaleia and Jeff Divine. The documentary features interviews with former members, exploring allegations of indoctrination and abuse.
10. Label
Label is the new series streaming on Disney+Hotstar. The Tamil series stars Jai, and Tanya Hope and revolves around the law business of Article 20 of the Indian constitution.
