‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’: R. Madhavan’s directorial debut is a true masterpiece telling the story of a misunderstood patriot scientist. This is definitely worth watching. It is available on Voot.
‘Sardar Udham’: Shoojit Sircar’s 2021 magnum opus offers a cinematic experience and tells the story of the rebel Udham Singh who waited for 20 years to punish those responsible for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. ‘Sardar Udham’ is available on Amazon Prime Video.
‘Shershah’: This 2021 superhit is based on the life of Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra and his feats that led to the victory of India. You can watch it too on Amazon Prime Video.
‘Sarbjit’: The fantastic film with an extremely talented crew tells the story of a brother being imprisoned in Pakistan and his sister’s struggles to return him to India. That too is available on Amazon Prime Video.
‘Neerja’: this is the biopic of the brave flight attendant Neerja Bhanot who risked her life to save the passengers on board. It was released in 2016 and is available on Disney+Hotstar.
‘Dangal’: Dangal directed by Nitish Tiwary tells the story of a strict father who wants his daughters to be great wrestlers and trains them hard for the same. It is available on Netflix.
‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’: Farhan Akhtar’s portrayal of the legendary Indian sprinter has won many hearts. The film has a heart-wrenching take on partition as well. You can watch it on Disney+Hotstar.
‘Paan Singh Tomar’: Tigmangshu Dhulia’s wonderful film tells the story of a soldier cum sprinter Paan Singh and how situations force him to be a rebel. It is available on Netflix.
‘M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story’: As the title suggests, the film deals with the untold story of Dhoni and his struggles to achieve his dreams. The film is available on Disney+Hotstar.
‘Manjhi: The Mountain Man’: The Nawzuddin starrer tells the story of a crazy lover who starts breaking a mountain into halves after his wife dies from falling from that mountain. The film is available on Netflix.
