Top 6 Indian Films &Series Releasing This Week on OTT Platforms

Last week was marked with the arrival of many exciting Indian and foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Dexter: New Blood’, ‘’Special Ops 1.5’, ‘Red Notice’, ‘Jungle Cruise’, and ‘Kanakam Kamini Kalaham’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have collated a list of top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Matsya Kaand (Series, Streaming on MX Player from 18th November)

The web series revolves around the charming and intelligent titular con artist (played by Ravii Dubey) who is pursued by a relentless senior cop (Ravi Kishan). Who will win at the end of this thrilling catch-me-if-you-can tale?

Dhamaka (Film, Streaming on Netflix from 19th November)

This thriller film by ‘Neerja’ director Ram Madhvani follows a washed-out journalist Arjun Pathak (played by Kartik Aaryan in his OTT debut) who sees a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity when he receives a shocking call from a terrorist on his radio show. The film also features Mrunal Thakur in the role of Kartik Aaryan’s wife.

Your Honor Season 2 (Series, Streaming on SonyLIV from 19th November)

The opening season of the web series featured Jimmy Sheirgill in the role of a Ludhiana-based reputed judge and a distressed father and his arduous endeavor to save his only son in a hit-and-run case involving the son of a gangster, with whom the judge already shares a turbulent past.

Churuli (Film, Streaming on SonyLIV from 19th November)

It’s an upcoming Malayalam science-fiction thriller movie that boasts an intriguing and ambitious premise. The plot revolves around a group of people who get trapped in a terrifying time loop in the titular village Churuli during their pursuit to catch a criminal named Mayiladumpara Joy.

Mandaar (Series, Streaming on Hoichoi from 19th November)

Acclaimed actor Anirban Bhattacharya has turned director for this adaptation of William Shakespeare’s renowned play Macbeth. It features Debasish Mondal in the titular role and also features Sohini Sarkar, Debesh Roy Chowdhury, and Anirban Bhattacharya in important roles. Previously, Vishal Bhardwaj had made a film ‘Maqbool’ based on the same play starring Irrfan Khan, Tabu, and Pankaj Kapur.

Cash (Film, Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 19th November)

It’s a thriller movie that stars Amol Parashar (who played Bhagat Singh in Sardar Udham) in the lead role of an entrepreneur. The film’s plotline takes place after demonetization was announced five years back and how the protagonist hatches a plan to launder a huge amount of money amidst the unique circumstances.
