Top Foreign Films & Series Streaming on OTT on 7th March Week

Last week was marked with the arrival of many exciting foreign OTT films and shows such as ‘Super Pumped’, ‘Worst Roommate Ever’, ‘West Side Story’, ‘No Time To Die’, and ‘Pieces of Her’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have collated a list of the top foreign titles streaming on Indian OTT platforms this week.

Outlander Season 6 (Streaming on Netflix from 7th March)

Based on Diana Gabaldon’s book series of the same name, the historical drama show revolves around a former British combat nurse living in 1945 Scotland and how she somehow travels back in time to the year 1743. The show’s sixth season is based on Diana’s novel ‘A Breath of Snow and Ashes’.

Queer Eye Germany (Streaming on Netflix from 9th March)

The German edition of the Queer Eye reality television series revolves around how a new group of Fab Five experts apply their core competence to different individuals in Germany to help them out in several ways. That includes improvement areas like wardrobes, diet, cultural pursuits, grooming, and home décor.

The Andy Warhol Diaries (Streaming on Netflix from 9th March)

Based on Andy Warhol’s dictated memoirs of the same name, the six-part biographical documentary series chronicles the American artist’s life story after he had started documenting the same.

The Last Kingdom Season 5 (Streaming on Netflix from 9th March)

The fifth and final season of the historical fiction show would revolve around King Edward’s endeavors to unite the Saxon kingdoms amidst impending threats by a Saxon rebellion and a Danish invasion. Who would become the next ruler: Edward’s illegitimate son Aethelstan or Lord Aethelhelm’s grandson Aelfweard?

Weekend Family (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 9th March)

The children-centric French comedy show revolves around the relationship between a single father and his three daughters Clara, Victoire, and Romy from different ex-wives. He meets them only on the weekends, but the goings-on take a spicier turn when he falls for another woman.

The Adam Project (Streaming on Netflix from 11th March)

The Adam Project’ follows the story of a 12-year-old father-less boy named Adam Reed (Walker Scobell) who finds an injured pilot (Ryan Reynolds), an older version of himself who has crash-landed to 2022 by time-traveling from the future. The two Adam Reeds team up to find their father (played by Mark Ruffalo) in the past, in order to save the future. The film also features Jennifer Garner and Zoe Saldana in important roles.

Upload Season 2 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 11th March)

Set in the near future, the science fiction show follows the story of a deceased computer programmer Nathan who is uploaded by his living girlfriend to an elite virtual afterlife program called Lake View. Nathan is trying to adjust to his new post-death digital life where he falls for his customer service rep Nora.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive S4 (Streaming on Netflix from 11th March)

Fasten your seat belts folks as the fourth season of ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’ is all set to again take you to the highly competitive world of Formula One racing which features a behind the scenes look at the stakeholders of the high-octane game – drivers, managers, and team owners. The fourth season will be based on the 2021 Formula One World Championship and would focus on the battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.

Turning Red (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 11th March)

Set in the early 2000s period, the animated comedy adventure film revolves around a 13-year-old girl Mei Lee (voiced by Rosalie Chiang), who resides in Toronto with her stern and overly protective mother Ming (voiced by Sandra Oh). Her life takes an interesting turn when one day, she suddenly learns that she transforms into a red giant panda whenever she is running high on emotions.
