Top Foreign Titles Streaming This Week: The King’s Man, Elite & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian and foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Moon Knight’ ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, ‘Bheeshma Parvam’, and ‘Drive My Car’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Return to Space (Streaming on Netflix from 7th April)

The documentary film ostensibly revolves around the massive efforts of eminent business tycoon Elon Musk and engineers from his space exploration company SpaceX. It would focus on their mission, spanning almost two decades, to send back NASA astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).

The King’s Man (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 8th April)

It’s a period prequel to the titular film series namely ‘Kingsman: Secret Service’ (2014) and ‘Kingman: The Golden Circle’ (2017). Based on the comic book titled ‘The Secret Service’, the film is set in the early 20th Century period and revolves around how the first independent intelligence Kingsman agency was instituted to avert an evil plan to eliminate millions by criminal masterminds.

Elite Season 5 (Streaming on Netflix from 8th April)

It’s a Spanish drama thriller show that is set amidst the backdrop of an elite school called Las Encinas in Spain. Narrated in two timelines, the show’s plot revolves around the glaring disparities between the school’s super affluent students and their working-class teenage counterparts.

Metal Lords (Streaming on Netflix from 8th April)

The musical comedy-drama film has been written by ‘Game of Thrones’ co-creator D.B. Weiss. The plot revolves around the efforts of two teenage friends Hunter and Kevin to start a heavy metal band in their school. With the help of a cellist named Emily and despite their differences, their aim is to win the Battle of the Bands.

Our Blues (Streaming on Netflix from 9th April)

The K-Drama revolves around the ups and downs of a group of people living and working on South Korea’s largest island – Jeju Island. The show features several characters including a truck maker Lee Dong-seok, his female colleague Min Seon-ah, the urban and suave Choi Han-soo, a charming fish store owner Jeong Eun-hee, and a captain Park Jeong-joon, amongst others.
