Top Indian Films & Series Streaming This Week on OTT

Last week was marked with the arrival of many exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘One Cut Two Cut’, ‘Rocket Boys’, ‘Looop Lapeta’, and ‘The Great Indian Murder’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have collated a list of top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

1945 (Streaming on Sun NXT from 7th February)

Set in the 1940s period, the film’s plot follows an aspiring barrister (Rana Daggubati) who relocates to Burma for his work. There, circumstances make him join Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s INA to fight against the atrocities of the British against the Indians. Regina Cassandra plays his love interest in the movie.

Mahaan (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 10th February)

The film’s underlying premise ostensibly revolves around a man’s journey from an ordinary teacher to an influential liquor brewer. In the film, Vikram plays the titular role of Gandhi Mahaan and the goings-on take an interesting turn when the billionaire protagonist begins to miss the presence of his son (played by Dhruv Vikram) in his life. It is being said that the story focuses on how the son reforms his father.

Gehraiyaan (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 11th February)

The film is a take on contemporary relationships and revolves around an ambitious woman named Alisha Khanna (played by Deepika Padukone) who is apparently dealing with her personal and professional dilemmas. At this delicate juncture of her life, she falls for her cousin Tia’s (Ananya Panday) fiancé Zain (Siddhant Chaturvedi).

Hero (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 11th February)

The action-comedy movie revolves around a budding actor named Arjun, whose life takes a complicated turn after he receives the wrong courier because of mistaken identity with a hitman who also bears the same name. How he attempts to get him and his family out of the tricky situation involving dangerous people, forms the rest of the film’s plot.

Raktanchal Season 2 (Streaming on MX Player from 11th February)

Set amidst the backdrop of 1980s Purvanchal, the crime drama web series showcases the fierce rivalry between the crime lord Waseem Khan (Nikitin Dheer) whose ruthless empire is challenged by a young anti-hero Vijay Singh (Kranti Prakash Jha).

Malli Modalaindi (Streaming on Zee5 from 11th February)

The Telugu romantic drama movie narrates a quirky story about divorce and remarriage and follows a man named Vikram (Sumanth) who applies for divorce and eventually falls in love with his own divorce lawyer (Naina Ganguly).
