Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Asur Season-2’, ‘Scoop’, ‘Mumbaikar’, and ‘Hatyapuri’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
2018 (Streaming on SonyLIV from 7th June)
Set against the backdrop of the 2018 Kerala floods, the film revolves around a group of people from different walks of life and how the devastating floods suddenly upturned their lives. It also focuses on the incredible efforts made by the people including the fishermen and the local people.
UP65 (Streaming on Jio Cinema from 8th June)
Directed by Gaganjeet Singh and set against the backdrop of Banaras city, the web series focuses on a group of engineering students and the ups and downs of their college lives.
Bloody Daddy (Streaming on Jio Cinema from 9th June)
Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar (Sultan), the action thriller movie features Shahid Kapoor in the role of a Gurugram-based caring father Sumair, who must deal with dangerous drug lords in order to get back his child. The film also features Diana Penty, Sanjay Kapoor, Ronit Roy Bose, and Rajeev Khandelwal, in interesting roles.
Noshtoneer (Streaming on Hoichoi from 9th June)
Directed by Aditi Roy, the social drama web series follows a happily married woman named Aparna, whose life suddenly turns upside down after a serious allegation against her husband is made.
Sarvam Shakthi Mayam (Streaming on Zee5 from 9th June)
The ten-episode series follows the story of a struggling author, who embarks on a pilgrimage tour along with his dysfunctional family to the eighteen sacred places called the Maha Shakthi Peeths. The show features Sanjay Suri, Priya Mani, and Sameer Soni in pivotal roles.
Adai Mazhai Kaalam (Streaming on Netflix from 11th June)
When a young man dies after an accident, he is given a chance to live in another dimension to compensate for his previous life getting unexpectedly shortened.
