Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Scam 2003’, ‘The Freelancer’, ‘DD Returns’ and ‘Friday Night Plan’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Lucky Guy (Streaming on Amazon miniTV from 6th September)
The web series follows the story of Swagger Sharma, who has often been lucky in his life until now. But will luck still favour him when it comes to love?
Haddi (Streaming on Zee5 from 7th September)
The movie features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the titular role of a transgender Haddi, who relocates to the capital city Delhi and joins a group of transgenders in order to exact revenge from a powerful person. The movie also features Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role.
Jailer (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 7th September)
Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the underlying plot of the movie follows the story of a courageous and upright jailer (played by Rajinikanth), who tries to stop a gang of criminals from rescuing their leader from the prison he is in-charge of.
Lokkhi Chhele (Streaming on SonyLIV from 8th September)
The Bengali language movie is about a child named Lokkhi, who is born with four arms, a condition which is identified by three young doctors. But in their pursuit to treat’s Lokkhi’s medical condition, they must deal with the rampant superstitions prevalent in the remote village in West Bengal.
Mr. Kolketa (Streaming on Hoichoi from 8th September)
The mystery drama series follows a middle-aged history enthusiast, who teams up with a young girl and together, they investigate a case of a long-lost treasure in the underground tunnels of Kolkata.
