Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Bambai Meri Jaan’, ‘Kaala’, and ‘Bhola Shankar’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Athidhi (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 19th September)
The Telugu horror thriller web series takes place on a rainy night and follows a mysterious woman who knocks at the door of a man who lives in a secluded mansion.
Dinosaurs (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 19th September)
Helmed by M.R. Madhavan, it’s a gangster drama movie which revolves around an ambitious young man who gets involved in a conflict after a dreaded gangster and his brother’s friend dies.
Jaane Jaan (Streaming on Netflix from 21st September)
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the mystery thriller movie is an adaptation of the best-selling Japanese novel ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. The basic plot follows a single mother (Kareena Kapoor Khan), who gets involved in a police investigation and is helped by her neighbour, a gifted mathematician (Jaideep Ahlawat). But a dedicated cop is hellbent on catching the culprit.
King of Kotha (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 22nd September)
Helmed by Abhilash Joshiy, the gangster action-drama movie narrates the story of how a cop brings back a former underworld king (Dulquer Salmaan) to the crime-ridden city of Kotha in order to put an end to the ruthless rule of the feared drug lord Kannan.
Shibpur (Streaming on Hoichoi from 22nd September)
Directed by Arindam Bhattacharya, the action thriller movie revolves around a Kolkata-based political journalist, who learns about the disappearance of a dreaded female mafia gang leader in the 1990s in a place called Shibpur.
