Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Jubilee’, ‘Romancham’, and ‘Ayothi’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
OKala (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 13th April)
Helmed by Deepak Kolipaka, it’s a Telugu language romantic movie starring Gourish Yeleti and Roshni Sahota in lead roles. The movie is about how a girl is dissuaded from taking her own life after finding a mysterious brochure.
Mrs. Undercover (Streaming on Zee5 from 14th April)
The spy comedy movie features Radhika Apte as an undercover agent living under the garb of a regular housewife. When she gets an important case of a psychotic serial killer after ten long years, she uses her forgotten and rusty skills to catch the culprit.
Kabzaa (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 14th April)
The movie is set between the years 1947 and 1984 and follows the story of a courageous freedom fighter and Gandhi follower Raja Amareshwara, who is killed by the Britishers. Later, the deceased freedom fighter’s son Arkeshwara (played by Upendra) becomes a powerful underworld don.
Das Ka Dhamki (Streaming on Aha Video from 14th April)
Directed by Vishwak Sen, the action-comedy movie revolves around a waiter (Vishwak Sen), who wants to live his life to the fullest. He falls for a woman named Keerthy, who gets him confused with his doppelganger, who is an affluent man.
Amriter Sandhane – The Banaras Chapter (Streaming on Addatimes from 14th April)
Helmed by Abhinandan Dutta, the Bengali mythological thriller web series features Debasish Mondal, Sauraseni Maitra, and Chandan Roy Sanyal in the lead roles. The show’s story is set in the holy city of Banaras and is divided into eight episodes.
Mitran Da Naa Chalda (Streaming on Zee5 from 14th April)
The Punjabi comedy drama movie features Gippy Grewal in the role of Laddi, an underdog man who suffers from a stammering problem. When he encounters four girls fighting a sexual harassment case, he uses his impressive legal knowledge and unique skills to help them out.
Pranaya Vilasam (Streaming on Zee5 from 14th April)
The Malayalam language romantic drama movie starring Arjun Ashokan revolves around multiple characters who go through various stages in their respective lives.
Projapati (Streaming on Zee5 from 14th April)
The Bengali family drama movie follows a 65-year-old widower (Mithun Chakraborty), who lives with his son Joy (Dev), a wedding planner. He wants to see his son get married but is Joy willing to get married?
