Top Indian OTT Titles Streaming This Week: Rana Naidu, Bad Trip Etc

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Gulmohar’, ‘Iratta’, ‘Alone’, ‘Waltair Veerayya’, and ‘Taj: Divided By Love’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week which might prove to be a triple delight for Indian OTT audiences.

Indubala Bhaater Hotel (Streaming on Hoichoi from 8th March)

Based on Kallol Lahiri’s novel of the same name, the web series follows the story of a carefree village girl named Indubala from Bangladesh to being a businesswoman in Kolkata.

Anger Tales (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 9th March)

Directed by Prabhala Tilak, this anthology series revolves around four different stories featuring disparate characters who all face one problem with a common solution.

Rana Naidu (Streaming on Netflix from 10th March)

The crime drama series features Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead roles of an estranged father-son duo. The titular character played by the former is the go-to guy for all Bollywood related problems. But all hell breaks loose when his father is unexpectedly released from the prison.

Rekha (Streaming on Netflix from 10th March)

Set in a Northern Kerala village, the film features Vincy Aloshious as a young, tom boyish woman Rekha, who is in love with his unemployed neighbour Arjun (played by Unni Lalu). But her life takes a dramatic turn following an incident which happens one fateful night.

Happy Family: Conditions Apply (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 10th March)

The comedy drama series focuses on the ups and downs and the relationship amongst the members of the multi-generational Dholakia family who are all living under one roof. The show features Raj Babbar, Ratna Pathak Shah, Atul Kulkarni, and Ayesha Jhulka, amongst others.

Run Baby Run (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 10th March)

The mystery thriller movie follows the story of a banker named Sathya (RJ Balaji), who decides to help a distressed medical college student Tara (Aishwarya Rajesh) after he finds her hiding inside his car. But his decision disrupts his entire life when the woman is found dead in his apartment.

Accidental Farmer & Co (Streaming on SonyLIV from 10th March)

The Tamil language web series features Vaibhav in the titular role of an accidental farmer and a village youngster who begins to grow a miracle plant which can make him rich. But the goings-on take an amusing turn when many people come to know about it.

Boudi Canteen (Streaming on Zee5 from 10th March)

The Bengali drama film features Subhashree Ganguly in the role of a gifted cook, who wants to use her talent and make it into a business. Her husband (Parambrata Chattopadhyay) helps his wife to achieve her dream of entrepreneurship but the protagonist must deal with various problems which come along.

Christy (Streaming on SonyLIV from 10th March)

Helmed by Alvin Henry, the movie revolves around a teenage boy Roy, who falls in love with an older woman named Christy in the neighbourhood. It features Mathew Thomas and Malavika Mohanan in the lead roles.

Bad Trip (Streaming on SonyLIV from 10th March)

The eight-part Telugu web series revolves around a group of strangers sharing a cab drive. But things go awry when the contract killer who is riding with them gets killed and they decide to complete the hitman’s mission.

Bommai Nayagi (Streaming on Zee5 from 10th March)

Helmed by Shan and backed by Pa. Ranjith, the hard-hitting social drama movie features Yogi Babu in the role of a tea-shop worker and a desperate father seeking justice for the sexual assault of his minor daughter.
