Top Indian OTT Titles Streaming This Week: Rocket Boys S2 & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Rana Naidu’, ‘Anger Tales’, ‘Christy’, and ‘Rekha’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week which might prove to be a triple delight for Indian OTT audiences.

Rocket Boys Season-2 (Streaming on SonyLIV from 16th March)

Directed by Abhay Pannu, the series tells the inspiring story of two extraordinary men Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, and how they pioneered India’s Space and Nuclear Programmes. It also shows the rise of A.P.J Abdul Kalam and their common goal of making India a nuclear nation.

Kuttey (Streaming on Netflix from 16th March)

Aasmaan Bhardwaj’s feature film directorial debut features an ensemble cast that includes Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan, and Kumud Mishra, etc. The story is about how various people including corrupt cops and drug peddlers plan to rob a van carrying loads of cash.

Vaathi aka Sir (Streaming on Netflix from 17th March)

Set in the 1990s period, the action-drama movie features Dhanush in the role of a Maths teacher who attempts to transform the education system and his students in a neglected government school.

Caught Out: Crime. Corruption. Cricket (Streaming on Netflix from 17th March)

Directed by Supriya Sobti Gupta, the documentary focuses on the investigation which unearthed the infamous match fixing scandal in the otherwise unscripted game of cricket.

Pop Kaun (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 17th March)

Created by Farhad Samji, the comedy series features Kunal Kemmu whose character learns that he is not the real son of his politician father (Johnny Lever). The incident leads to an amusing turn of events where he must find out who his real father is. It also features Satish Kaushik, Saurabh Shukla, Nupur Sanon, and Chunky Pandey.

Saathi Gaani Rendu Ekaralu (Streaming on Aha Video from 17th March)

Directed by Abhinav Danda, the dark comedy movie features Jagadeesh Bandari (of Pushpa fame) in the lead role who decides to sell his land and gets involved in a murder case.

Seven (Streaming on Zee5 from 17th March)

The seven-part Bengali mystery thriller web series revolves around a group of five friends who encounter an accident on their road trip to a hilly town. That’s when they find a bag full of cash, and a gun.

Writer Padmabhushan (Streaming on Zee5 from 17th March)

The comedy drama movie features Suhas in the titular role of Padmabhushan, a budding writer who belongs to a middle-class background in Vijayawada. Suhas wants his book to be read and the story takes an interesting turn when a woman named Sarika (Tina Shilparaj) loves his work and even wants to marry him.
