Top Indian Titles Streaming This Week On OTT: London Files & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Dhahanam’, ‘Gaalivaana’, ‘Mai’, ‘James’, and ‘Veyil’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Brochara Season 2 (Streaming on Voot from 18th April)

The slice-of-life drama series revolves around the relationship and the endearing bromance between four close friends namely Dhiren, Kanan, Shivashish, and Pranay, and how they support each other through various phases of their lives.

Toolsidas Junior (Streaming on Netflix from 19th April)

Set in 1990s Calcutta, the sports drama follows the story of a teenage boy named Midi (Varun Buddhadev), who decides to revive his father’s (Rajiv Kapoor) lost glory after the latter loses in an important snooker tournament. To fulfill his dream, he takes the help of former snooker champ Mohd Salaam (Sanjay Dutt).

London Files (Streaming on Voot from 21st April)

Set in London, the six-part investigative crime thriller show revolves around a homicide detective Om Singh (Arjun Rampal), who takes up a high-profile missing person’s case of the daughter of media tycoon Amar Roy (Purab Kohli). As Om begins the investigation while battling his own demons, dark secrets about the crime-filled London city are revealed.

Oh My Dog (Streaming on Amazon from 21st April)

Directed by Sarov Shanmugam, the Tamil drama movie revolves around the emotional relationship between a young boy Arjun (played by Arnav Vijay), and Siberian Husky dog Simba who has been adopted by him. Backed by renowned actor Suriya, the film’s theme is based on the values of unconditional love, friendship, and kindness.

Guilty Minds (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 22nd April)

It’s a legal drama series helmed by Shefali Bhushan and features Shriya Pilgaonkar and Varun Mitra in the lead roles. They essay the characters of two young and ambitious lawyers who find themselves on the opposite ends of the ethical spectrum while fighting their cases. The series also stars Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Satish Kaushik, Benjamin Gilani, Karishma Tanna, Shakti Kapoor, and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, amongst others.

Anantham (Streaming on Zee5 from 22nd April)

The eight-part romance drama show narrates the story of a house named Anantham and the interesting tales of many families which had occupied the house since the year 1964. The story is told from the perspective of the house owner’s son Ananth, who comes back to the house and learns about these stories set in different timelines. The series features veteran actor Prakash Raj.

Antakshari (Streaming on SonyLIV from 22nd April)

Written and directed by Vipin Das and presented by Jeethu Joseph, the film’s plot ostensibly follows the story of a police officer Saiju Kurup who has the habit of singing songs in Antakshari format while he investigates his cases.

Ghani (Streaming on Aha Video from 22nd April)

Helmed by Kiran Korrapati, the sports drama film features Varun Tej in the role of the titular boxer Ghani. Like his father Vikramaditya, he wants to become a National-level boxer and trains hard to fulfill his dream from an early age. However, an incident from the past still haunts his family and acts as a deterrent to his boxing ambitions.
