The Lake Season-2 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The plot follows Justin (Jordan Gavaris), who returns from abroad with the intention of reconnecting with his teenage biological daughter whom he had earlier given for adoption. Helmed by Aamir Pallikkal, the film features Manu Warrier in the role of a domestic worker who relocates to the Middle East to work for an affluent Arab family. How she adjusts with the new way of living and culture forms the film’s underlying premise.
Empire of Light (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)
Directed by Sam Mendes (Skyfall, 1917), the romantic drama movie is a love story that is set in and around a beautiful old cinema, on the South Coast of England in the early 1980s period. It features Olivia Coleman, Micheal Ward, and Colin Firth in pivotal roles.
Sarvam Shakthi Mayam (Streaming on Zee5)
The ten-episode series follows the story of a struggling author, who embarks on a pilgrimage tour along with his dysfunctional family to the eighteen sacred places called the Maha Shakthi Peeths. The show features Sanjay Suri, Priya Mani, and Sameer Soni in pivotal roles.
