Some eagerly anticipated Indian and foreign films and series have already been or will be released today as well on various Indian OTT platforms. Class (Streaming on Netflix)
Based on the hit Spanish show ‘Elite’, the show’s story follows three poor scholarship students who join a posh Delhi school. But soon, they must deal with an unanticipated turn of events while facing class divide amongst other problems.
Viking Wolf (Streaming on Netflix)
In the Norwegian horror thriller movie, after relocating to a small new place, a teenage girl Thale witnesses a brutal murder at a party. But after the incident, she begins to experience strange visions and unusual desires.
Sembi (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)
The film’s plot revolves around the titular ten-year-old girl named Sembi, who lives in the scenic town of Kodaikanal. After the girl is assaulted by a group of three criminals, circumstances force them to board a bus. The fellow travellers team up to save the little girl and her grandmother and try to get them justice.
True Spirit (Streaming on Netflix)
Based on the true story of a young and inspiring Australian woman Jessica Watson, the film focuses on how the protagonist became the youngest person to sail around the world and that too all by herself without any break in a span of 210 days.
Jehanabad of Love & War (Streaming on SonyLIV)
The crime drama series is set in a small place Jehanabad located in Bihar in the year 2005 and follows the story of a professor (Ritwik Bhowmik), who wants to get married to his student (Harshita Gaur). But things are not expected to go smoothly amidst the backdrop of Naxalites planning to free their commander (Parambrata Chattopadhyay) from a prison.
Vadh (Streaming on Netflix)
The film’s story follows an old, middle-class couple (played by Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta), whose lives take a turn after their son decides to go to America for further studies.
Harlem Season-2 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The comedy drama series focuses on four friends and how they deal with their personal and professional lives while living in Harlem, New York.
Fursat (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, YouTube)
Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘shot on iPhone’ 30-minute short film follows a man (Ishaan Khattar), who uses an ancient magical device to look into the future. But in doing that, he risks what he loves in his present.
Roktokorobi (Streaming on Zee5)
The psychological thriller web series follows a psychologist named Satyaki (played by Vikram Chatterjee), who quits his practice after the unfortunate death of one of his patients. The shattered doctor decides to go on a break to his aunt’s house but experiences a series of mysterious incidents and gets involved in a complex case of a mental disorder. The show also features Raima Sen and Tulika Basu in important roles.
Infiesto (Streaming on Netflix)
The Spanish mystery movie takes place in March 2020 amidst the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic. The story revolves around two detectives who attempt to unearth the mystery behind a missing woman in a small mining town.
Mukhachitram (Streaming on Aha Video)
The film follows the story of a renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Rajkumar, who gets married to a simple village girl Mahati, much to the chagrin of his childhood friend Maya, who loves him to the core. But soon after the marriage, the doctor’s life takes a drastic turn and leads to a plastic surgery procedure.
Make My Day (Streaming on Netflix)
The animated action-adventure series is set in a far-off, cold planet called Coldfoot, whose inhabitants must face must fight mysterious creatures before the entire humanity is wiped off the planet.
Dear Edward (Streaming on Apple TV+)
The drama series follows the story of Edward, a lone plane crash survivor whose family members died in the crash. The plot is about how Edward deals with life following the fateful plane crash and the relationships he forms thereafter.
