Friday is invariably an exciting day for OTT viewers and today is no exception. Some eagerly anticipated Indian and foreign films and series have already been or will be released today as well on various Indian OTT platforms. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top streaming titles (in no particular order) that are already out or will be out on Indian OTT platforms today.

Darlings (Streaming on Netflix)

‘Darlings’ is a black comedy film that revolves around a mother-daughter duo (played by Shefali Shah and Alia Bhatt) that is set against the backdrop of a conservative and lower-middle-class Mumbai neighbourhood. The story is about how Alia Bhatt’s character Badru thinks that her husband (Vijay Varma) will change after he stops his drinking habit. But when things go out of control, both these women set out to exact revenge in their own amateurish way.

The Sandman (Streaming on Netflix)

Based on Neil Gaiman’s comic book of the same name, the fantasy drama series follows the story of the king of Dreams – Dream / Morpheus (Tom Sturridge), who escapes from his more than 100 years of captivity and makes it his mission to reclaim what was lost to him and to regain his power.

Crash Course (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)

The series focuses on the struggles, aspirations, love stories, and friendships among a group of students studying for competitive exams in the education hub Kota. The story is set amidst the backdrop of fierce rivalry between two of the biggest coaching institutes in Kota.

Thirteen Lives (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)

The survival drama movie is based on the real-life Tham Luang cave rescue incident that happened in Thailand in 2018 when a junior football team comprising twelve boys along with their assistant coach were trapped in a cave for eighteen days. Later, two British divers John Volanthen and Richard Stanton found the group alive a few kilometres away from the cave mouth. Helmed by Ron Howard, the film features Colin Farrell, Viggo Mortensen and Joel Edgerton in the roles of the two British divers and anaesthetist Richard Harris, respectively.

Victim – Who is Next? (Streaming on SonyLIV)

The Tamil language anthology series has been helmed by Chimbu Devan, M Rajesh, Pa.Ranjith and Venkat Prabhu. The anthology narrates four different stories showcasing different kinds of victims of crimes. The themes of the stories range from a fantasy thriller to a haunted house story to a caste discrimination story, etc.

Pakka Commercial (Streaming on Aha Video, Netflix)

Helmed by Maruthi, the courtroom action-comedy movie follows an upright judge Suryanarayana (Sathyaraj) who gives up his profession after an unfortunate verdict. To make amends, he tries to bring up his son Lucky (Gopichand) as a righteous lawyer, but Lucky turns out to be a money-minded aka ‘pakka commercial’ lawyer. What happens when Suryanarayana dons the black attire again but this time, to face his own son?

Carter (Streaming on Netflix)

The South Korean action thriller movie follows the titular protagonist Agent Carter (Joo Won), who wakes up without any memory of his past. Now, Carter must rely on the mysterious voice from a device planted inside his ear and race against time to pursue a dangerous hostage rescue mission while trying to remember his own identity.

John Luther (Streaming on Manorama Max)

The Malayalam language thriller features Jayasurya in the role of a committed cop John Luther, who suffers from hearing impairment while investigating a crime. How the circle inspector attempts to solve the missing person case of a teacher despite his handicap forms the film’s underlying premise.

Aloe Vera (Streaming on Netflix)

Helmed by Peter Sedufia, the romantic drama Ghanaian movie follows the story of a man named Aloewin and a woman named Veraline, who belong to two different communities namely the Aloes and the Veras and they fall in love with each other. Now, the lovers must end the fierce enmity between the two groups to be together.

Vendetta (Streaming on Lionsgate Play)

The action thriller flick follows a former Marine William Duncan (Clive Standen), whose daughter gets brutally murdered by two gangsters. He avenges his daughter’s death by going after those responsible but that sets off an ugly circle of bloody revenge between William and the crime boss Donnie (Bruce Willis).

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie (Streaming on Netflix)

Based on the superhero series of the same name, the animated movie follows the daredevil adventures of the Ninja Turtles led by Leo, who must team up with his brothers to save the world from being invaded by the extremely dangerous alien race – the Krangs.

Luck (Streaming on Apple TV+)

The animated fantasy comedy movie revolves around the unluckiest person in the world Sam Greenfield, who becomes aware of the land of luck and must take the help of magical creatures in order to turn around her luck.
