Some eagerly anticipated Indian and foreign films and series have already been or will be released today as well on various Indian OTT platforms. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top streaming titles (in no particular order) that are already out or will be out on Indian OTT platforms today.

Good Luck Jerry (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

The dark comedy crime film’s plot revolves around a simple and innocent woman who gets involved in the world of drug smuggling for want of money for her mother’s treatment for a terminal disease. It’s a Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Kolamaavu Kokila and features Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role alongside Deepak Dobriyal, Sushant Singh, and Mita Vashisht, amongst others.

777 Charlie (Streaming on Voot Select)

Helmed by Kiranraj. K, the movie features Rakshit Shetty as the protagonist Dharma, who lives a lonely and dull life as a factory worker. His life suddenly takes a positive turn when a naughty and lively stray Labrador dog named Charlie enters his life. How Charlie’ presence changes Dharma’s perspective towards life and bonds with him, forms the film’s underlying premise.

19(1)(a) (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

As the title suggests, the film is ostensibly based on the titular Article of the Indian Constitution pertaining to the freedom of speech and expression. Helmed by Indhu VS, the Malayalam drama features Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. Menon’s character is that of a photocopy shop owner while Sethupathi is portraying the role of a writer in the film.

Rangbaaz Season-3 (Streaming on Zee5)

The third instalment of the Rangbaaz franchise features the supremely talented performer Vineet Kumar Singh (Mukkabaaz) as Haroon Shah Ali Baig aka Saheb. The six-episode series showcases his eventful journey from a small town in Bihar to becoming one of the most influential leaders of the State with a Robin Hood kind of image.

Crimes of the Future (Streaming on Mubi)

David Cronenberg’s body horror sci-fi movie is set in an undetermined future where surgeries can be performed without feeling pain. The movie features Viggo Mortensen as Saul Tenser, a celebrity artist who grows new organs inside his body. While his partner Caprice (Léa Seydoux) removes his organs in a public performance. The film also stars Kirsten Stewart in the role of an investigator who has keen interest in Saul.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect – Hindi (Streaming on Voot Select)

Helmed by R. Madhavan, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is a biographical drama which is based on the life of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely accused of selling confidential information to foreign entities and how he eventually fought back. The movie also features Simran (as Meera Narayanan), Rajit Kapur (as Vikram Sarabhai), and Gulshan Grover (as A.P.J. Abdul Kalam) besides special appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya.

The Staircase (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)

The eight-part true crime show revolves around the case of Michael Peterson, an American novelist who was accused of murdering his wife and the long legal battle that followed. Colin Firth has essayed the central role of Michael Peterson. While his wife’s part has been played by Toni Collette.
